SEA Events SEA, Student Engagement and Activities office, hosts events all throughout the academic year! Events will range from tabling in the Union to ziplines across campus, ice skating rinks on the Forchelli Terrace, giveaways at Athletic home games, food trucks, and more! First 40 Programming The purpose of the First 40 programming series is to highlight 40 straight days of co-curricular programming, specifically geared towards new students. The First 40 is an annual program that happens at the start of each semester! All events will be listed on the Involve Events Page and advertised on large posters throughout the Union and other buildings on campus! Student Government Association The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official representation of the College for students! By working with students, faculty, and the administration, SGA works to improve our campus. SGA is also the governance structure that oversees all organizations on the campus to include academic clubs, specialized groups, honor societies, student publications as well as all fraternities and sororities. Our SGA executive board consists of a President, Executive Vice President, VP of Student Organizations, VP of Finance, VP of Programming, VP of Operations, Press Secretary and Sustainability Secretary. There are four (4) student senators: Campus Operations Senator, Community & Belonging Senator, Academic Affairs Senator, and a Student Life Senator. While the executive board elections occur in the spring semester and this year’s executive board is all set, senator elections occur early in the fall semester, so more information will be sent to students soon! There are also class councils meaning each graduating class has its own President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary! Are you a new student in the class of 2030?
